Company
Drom.bike .s.r.o. was founded by Adam Šimeček, an industrial designer with years of experience in the bicycle and automotive industries. The team consists of friends, cyclists, industrial designers, prototype developers and production engineers.
Problem
The company was founded by identifying a problem in an existing product, a lacing stand for bicycle wheel. These are single-purpose, space-consuming objects. We came up with an idea of folding this stand into a portable size, saving space in workshops. Since then, we have followed the same approach of clever solutions in developing new products.
Automotive background
Products are developed in cooperation with industry-leading specialists and engineers from BE Team s.r.o., an engineering company in Mladá Boleslav developing products for Aston Martin PLC, Mercedes-Benz AG, BMW AG, Volkswagen AG and Škoda Auto a.s.. All products of drom.bike s.r.o. are protected by industrial design and utility models by registration, covered by intellectual property, and patent-pending.
Local development
All of the company's products are designed and assembled in the Czech Republic. Thanks to specialists in industrial design, prototype production, and automotive engineering, drom.bike s.r.o. is able to quickly and efficiently develop innovative parts.
Target
Bicycle tools made by drom.bike s.r.o. are intended for professionals, race mechanics, and demanding users searching for innovative solutions, a high-quality finish from light alloys, intuitive use and the possibility of safe transport.
Outdoor tested
Testing takes place in a narrow circle of ambassadors and professional mechanics. Thanks to their insights from everyday use, we can flexibly respond to suggestions, eliminate product drawbacks, and improve functionality.
